ubik_2008 Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 Alt-tab seems to be unresponsive for me, thus preventing the possibility to check any background monitoring app like cpu/gpu-z, afterburner, windows task manager etc. BTW it works for me with other sims like MSFS and DCS World Am I missing something? Thanks for sharing
itsbillyfrazier Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 Hi, Have you tried leaving "Full screen" unchecked in graphics settings? Full screen mode and alt-tab didn't work well for me either but alt-tab now works as expected without full screen mode enabled.

And there doesn’t seem to be any difference in performance. 1
ubik_2008 Posted May 3, 2021 Author Posted May 3, 2021 I unchecked the full screen mode but for unknown reasons the windowed mode would not engage. Weird...

Are you using NVIDIA DSR in Nvidia control pane by any chance? IIRC this caused issues for me. I know DSR needs to run the game in fullscreen and alt-tabbing didn't work nicely there either. Try turning DSR off if you have it on and try again window mode. Sorry but that's all I can think of for now, hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help you out here.
ubik_2008 Posted May 3, 2021 Author Posted May 3, 2021 No, I have a Radeon RX5700XT. No eerie Adrenalin software installed, driver only. But thanks anyway?
greybeard_52 Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 I had same problem. Solution was simple for me: leave something running/open before launching IL-2 - may be a folder, PWCG, an excel worksheet - and then alt-tabbing you'll get the choice to switch to one of the other running programs. When switched, e.g., to excel spreadsheet, from there you can hit Windows key, getting access to everything you need.
