rmax Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 I have created three extended models models for Tacview for WW1 aircraft: SE5a, Bristol Fighter and Albatros DVa. I plan to make more in the future. They can be accessed through the following drop-box link. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/auxmirgb0xnp93g/AACcC4tgxb7xVQvaXJwBhVgsa?dl=0. Any problems then let me know. 2 4
JG1_Vonrd Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Thanks! I didn't know that this was possible but then I saw this: https://www.tacview.net/documentation/3dobjects/en/ I think there are lots of planes in GB also that need models. I'll play around trying to make some in Blender. Might be fun to make some joke models also... there's a few "flying turds" for example... ?
rmax Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 I have further extended the models for Tacview for WW1 aircraft Release 2: SE5a, Bristol Fighter, Albatros DVa, Fokker DVII, Sopwith Dolphin and Halberstadt CL.II. I plan to make more in the future. They can be accessed through the following drop-box link. I am planning on adding more if time permits. Any questions or comments please let me know. https://www.dropbox.com/.../AACcC4tgxb7xVQvaXJwBhVgsa.... Any problems then let me know. 1 1
BuzyBee Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Outstanding! Thanks for sharing! I am working on integrating these into Tacview as soon as possible.
rmax Posted May 18, 2021 Author Posted May 18, 2021 I have now completed models for all flyable aircraft in Flying Circus 1 to be viewed in TacView instead of only seeing a Camel and a Fokker Dr1. This is Release 3 and can be found at the following location: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/auxmirgb0xnp93g/AACcC4tgxb7xVQvaXJwBhVgsa?dl=0. The SE5a was incorrectly sized and now this has been corrected. As usual any comments please let me know. 1 1
rmax Posted May 18, 2021 Author Posted May 18, 2021 Just corrected the SE5a. Should now be flying the right way.
rmax Posted May 24, 2021 Author Posted May 24, 2021 I have extended the Tacview models and now have included a British Mark V Tank and a Leyland 3 ton truck in addition to the other models. As usual distributed through dropbox. Any issues let me know (note: the SE5a should now be flying in the right direction). https://www.dropbox.com/.../AACcC4tgxb7xVQvaXJwBhVgsa... 1 3
