The LD Server donation Lottery!

Dear community,

 

we Loose Deuce plan to build and host the next LD server with the newest top notch SSDs and max single core speeds possible to get the smoothest simulation outcome like our  current beloved LD/Finnish Dynamic War server scenario. The last LD machine was payed for by =LD=Strat and =LD=dhyran, including monthly power and bandwith costs with a top notch uplink to the AMS-IX and DE-CIX, so everyone can enjoy the great connectivity worldwide. We do it because flying online is our hobby, it‘s our passion, crazy ww2 propheads by heart. Please help us this time to build the next server with any donation you can afford to give! Every cent will go into the next machine and to cover monthly costs. Once we reach our goal a new machine will be ready for the community, for you!

 

From today i will give away one of the following packages for the highest donation per week. The one who donates the most, will choose one of those packages for free! So for the next weeks i will report here the choosen packages, to make sure, everyone is able to see what still in the lottery bucket!

I think that you might need to set out the aims of your server. Dogfight? Stock missions? Coconut-style? Which maps? 'Full real', icons on or off, GPS on or off, externals on or off? You get the drift. Also, what enticement do you have for the already fully committed, i.e. those of us who already own everything and aren't overly philanthropic? 

Might you not be better off going down the patreon route? Get people to commit who like the idea of your server and will actually use it?

For myself, I own everything, for multiplayer I jump occasionally into coconut's hardcore and also fly co-ops with friends but don't use the other dogfight servers at all. Plus I also have several spare copies of the BoN modules in case I want to give one away, so your prizes won't tempt me I'm afraid.

So, the result of all that waffle is could you be a bit more specific about the server?
