No! Too much CPU load for bomber raids and thousands of flying flak canons. Too much costs building a single plane with 7+ stations and functions. For one big bomber the team can build several new fighter planes.

I doubt it. I dont know if the game could support large formations of heavy bombers, it already struggles with the dense setting in Kuban when your near the frontline.

Only IA planes would be good enough,they already did for IL2 1946!

without big bombers the career is not fully realistic

The AI is the problem.  Consumes a lot of CPU in its current state.   A formation of B-17s with a pilot and 8 gunners would bring the game to it's knees.  

 

Yesterday there was a polling thread asking what we would most like to see worked.  Performance wasn't even an option so I submitted it as a write in.  Ai has been improved and IMHO is no longer #1 on the hit parade.  If 1C can make strides in performance it would open up a world of possibilities, and it is certainly a prerequisite to doing anything with 10 crew members.

And this is why any future expansion that would include naval vessels larger than a PT Boat are a no go as well.  Can you imagine an Essex class carrier, or a Cleveland class light cruiser opening up with it's full compliment of anti aircraft guns?

Rise of flight can give me what 12 , 4 engine bombers

 

Cliffs of Dover Blitz gives us HOW many 4 engined bombers at a time?  with how many fighters and other planes?

 

    AND gives us hit rates after words, tells us what weve done, like kill a pilot or gunner as we put 400 rounds of .303 through the feuselage. 

                  Oh yeah, smaller simpler game engine, more simplified game dynamics and simpler animations.
