Where do I put campaigns in COD blitz

I have owned COD since its release. and now use the steam download rather than my old cd installed version, I have found 2 campaigns that I on my drive, SD and 32 squadron.

where do i put these folders to have them in the steam version. any help would be gratefully received.

First of all: hello fellow, I'm glad you're back in the game.

 

If you are running Windows 10, normally you should put your files in:

 

Hard disk unit or partition -> Users -> computer's name -> Documents -> 1C SoftClub -> il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover -> mission -> campaign

 

Be careful with the second to last folder, it is "mission", not "missions".

 

I hope the above brought some help. If I made a mistake, I apologise but that wouldn't be a serious problem, you'd be simply needing to delete the files in the folder I mentioned (by the way, keep a backup copy somewhere else until you are sure your campaigns are working in the game).

I tried this and my campaign does not show up on the list.

 

More about the campaign.ini file.  I've seen posts where the campaign.ini is also called campaigns.ini.

 

I've tried both names, Neither works. My campaign does not show up on the list.

 

Has anyone created a video showing how to install campaigns in Blitz with the current version of the game. 

 

If we are not going to add a Battle of Britain because of the Cliffs of Dover Blitz game then how bout we actively support the Blitz game with current information and FAQ's

 

Attached is a video showing what I have done to try and get this campaign to load. FYI I have never gotten ANY custom campaign to load. I gave up but decided to try again since we do NOT have any Battle of Britain in Great Battles.

your campaigns.ini looks correct.

 

I think the problem is somewhere else - in this campaign itself. Battle of France is an old campaign, it was created a long time ago. There have been changes in the campaign structure later and old campaigns like this one have not been updated to match the current state.

 

I had the same problem when I tried to add this Battle of France campaign to the game. After comparing with more recent compaigns, I noticed that one file was missing in the campaing_Battle_of_France folder. I think all similar old campaigns have this problem very likely now.

 

Try to copy a file called Campaign.mis from \steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\parts\bob\mission\campaign\campaign_gb into your \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\mission\campaign\custom\campaign_Battle_of_France folder.

 

I believe the campaign should appear in the list then.
