Hello,

I've been futzing around on GIMP lately, making all sorts of wacky ahistorical LW skins and such, But I'm not sure how (if?) I can create good weathering effects. Things I'm primarily after are scratches/scrapes/etc and especially paint damage/chipping with bare metal underneath.

If someone could drop a hint or two I'd be very grateful!
