Seafire XV Fleet Air Arm Skins uploaded to HSD Skin Downloader

Hi all, I have created two post war Seafire skins based on the Battle of Normandy Spitfire XIV.  Both skins are available on Haluter's Skin Downloader (HSD).

Search on HSD under artist ICDP, or look for the Seafire Fleet Air Arm Skin Pack in the list.

The Supermarine Seafire Mk.XV was the first Griffon powered version of the Seafire to be produced, entering service just too late to reach the front line during the Second World War. The Seafire Mk.XV borrowed features from four versions of the Spitfire. It had the fuselage of the Spitfire V as used on the Seafire III, the wing-root fuel tanks from the Spitfire IX, the enlarged fin and rudder and retractable tail wheel of the Spitfire VIII and the Griffon engine installation of the Spitfire XII.

Seafire F. Mk XV White 122, No 806 Squadron Fleet Air Arm, 16th Carrier Air Froup, HMS Glory, September 1946.

Beautiful - thx! Perfect read for that Skin Pack:

Crosley, R. Mike (2014): They gave me a Seafire. Second edition. Barnsley, South Yorkshire: Pen & Sword Aviation.

Tons of good stories and detailed technical info, report about sorties in the early G-suits, flying Seafire III with 886 Naval Air Squadron as Naval Arty Spotter after D-day ...

And the wings from the Seafire III. ?
