Just added some war era propaganda posters. I have two more but the frame store only had five frames so these will do for now.

Nice one.  That table top came out well.  The bolt heads on the side are a really nice detail.

More office/gaming room/modeling table progress to share.

I just finished this art project. It started as an eBay purchase of a DVD of high resolution scans of original BF-109 factory blue prints. I had my favorite one printed at 36"x 48".

I then had to build a frame to hold it. That was a lot harder than I had thought because the image itself was printed on a rather heavy paper and had quite a lot of weight to it. At any rate, this frame is made from wood, acrylic, steel and aluminum and, in my opinion, is perfect.

It's now hanging above my in progress model building table that over been working on all year and is still waiting for me to build functional storage for.....I guess I'll do that next.

It looks nice and it’s tastefully done, but do you really want to use an airbrush right there?  Won’t that framed blueprint eventually become dusted with overspray?  My own modeling area looks pristine like that for about the first 5 minutes of embarking on a new model ?

Haha, I hear you and I've been thinking about just that. If you look closely at the pictures, you can see a series of black spots along the back edge of table. Those are tool mounting points. The light and the rotary tool stand are mounted to some of them. I intend to make a removable backdrop screen that mounts to them and will prevent over over spray when I'm airbrushing.... That's the plan at least.

Thanks for the kind feedback ?

Nice.  I see you have a Foredom pendant motor with a flexi shaft too.  That’s a fantastic bit of kit.

Yes, it really is fantastic.

In my little hobby shop I have my father's band saw, a few of my Nonno's hand tools and a metal lathe constructed in 1940 but the Foredom is the first modern tool I've ever bought that I think will last long enough for me to hand down to the next generation.
