Thorne Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 The other sims I fly (DCS and MSFS) all allow modifier buttons, that when held, will change the function of a secondary button. The ability to double available buttons is an absolute game changer, and something that IL2 desperately needs. 1 4
Denum Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 Agree!!!!! Although I ordered a button box so I don't need it anymore. But it would have been handy! 1
Thorne Posted April 25, 2021 Author Posted April 25, 2021 It's crazy to have 60 + buttons and still not have enough for a non clickable stim. Clutch button would solve that easily
SharpeXB Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 If your joystick software lets you assign key presses, just assign some buttons to Alt, Shift or Ctrl. IL-2 recognizes those as modifiers I believe.
WokeUpDead Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 I use Joy2key. It's free, though you should donate a little if you use it a lot
