Hi,

 

How good/bad is the ai in IL2? If I have the feeling I'm in actual combat, ai planes dont run themselves into the ground I'm happy ?

Personally I like the dogfighting behaviour of the current ai. Yes it isn’t perfect - but what is?

 

It gets constantly improved and has come a long long way from how it was 2 years ago!

 

The next big ai improvement I hope for would be radio communication revamp - however that seems very unlikely from several dev comments over the years.

If you mean how good is the AI at shooting people down and surviving compared to humans....
The AI is a match to a very novice online human and hopelessly outclassed by an average, experienced online player.
