Su-152 Commanders Rangefinder

Hello, I have been playing with the su 153 and it is a lot of fun. I was just wondering how to use the commander's rangefinder. To my knowledge the commander's scope which you can use when controlling that position is a rangefinder but I am struggling to work out how to use it and read it! Thanks

Also which round is best to use?? Considering each shot takes a minute to load I should be loading the most optimum shell

Both SU's should be using range finders.

Just tried the 152 in TIGRE's beast hunting mission. Man, reloading takes forever. But it surely can blow up any reinforced out house ..

At ranges of ~400 m and more Ferdinand can survive after several frontal hits...

Load HE had try to hit the lower part of the superstructure. It will mobility-kill the Ferdinand. With all the smoke coming from the engine deck there is a high chance that th ferdinand's gunner won't be able to see you any more. Works with the SU122 also.

 

You can do the same with angled Tigers at long distance. Eihter go for a turret hit or a hit in the lower side
