So a couple of weeks ago me and some friends bought BoS to play together, I tried to host a server in-game but we noticed that we needed to do some port-forwading. Well this is a problem because my only source of internet is the 4G from my smartphone and as far as I know you can't open ports on cellphones. So we tried using Zero Tier (a program that works similar to Hamachi) but it didn't work either. We checked if we could join other servers and we can play on some of them (we play in a Finnish server), but, again, we want to host our own server to play co-op missions, so I was wondering if there's a way to host a server without opening ports. Also we already tried to use DServer but is more of the same.

Hi there!  I was struggling with the same issue, and after a few checks in the rest of the forum I found out a few manuals:

in that post you will find the manual in English & Spanish.

Page 167 there's a section called: Install and Update a Multiplayer Mission Server

on Chapter 11.  Take a close look into that chapter.

Ok, I will read it and see if it resolves my problem, thanks for the info.

So the manual explains how to install and use DServer but that's not exactly the problem that I have. I've already set up a DServer and tested it locally and it had no problems at all. My problem is that my friends can't connect to my server because (I think) the ports aren't open, and I can't open ports because I'm using mobile data from my cellphone.

I'm in the same boat. One thing I'm thinking of trying out is signing up for a Microsoft Azure Free Account. Apparently you can get access to a Windows VM in Azure cloud for free, 750 hours a month for 12 months. I'm not sure if that's the route I'm going to go, and I don't actually know very much about Azure, but it might be an option for you vxr. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/

Hi gents... I am also reading the manual mentioned by raspikabek. As you guys are in advanced stage I would like to know what is your hardware for this “remote PC” configuration where you are running multiplayer missions. Does it need to be a gamer pc to process the missions or an ordinary pc may be work well for this task? Appreciate if you can share your hardware configuration and advices.

The more single core oomph, the bigger missions and more players you can accommodate.

Finnish VirtualPilots' server is running on Ryzen 5600X@4.6 GHz, 16 GB 3200 MHz DDR4, 1 gbps.

Loose Deuce server is currently running on i5-9600K@4.7 GHz, 32 GB, 1 gbps.

So, well, I wanted to announce that I'm going to stop trying to make this server work using my cellphone 4G and instead I'm going to get an internet service, so I will stop posting on this thread but I wanted to thank everyone who tried to help resolve my problem.

So thanks people, see you around.
