Given that the Doolittle raid was a primary motivation for Yamamoto’s Operation MI, the Battle of Midway, I think it’s safe to say that April 18th wasn’t his lucky day.
Spasticus Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 (edited) Did you know that 250.000 (two-hundred-and-fifty-thousand) Chinese civilians were murdered by the Japanese because a few of them helped some American who were in this raid escape? Boggles the mind what consequences it had for a people that didn't really have much to do with the raid at all. Edited April 27, 2021 by Spasticus
