JG27_Chivas Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Well they finnaly create a device that can make me look even more dumb while playing computer games and someones enter the room :/ We won't even see them, spreading pics of our dumb #ss all over the internet.
PaddyVanomus Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I've managed to get Rift support working by using Vorpx http://www.vorpx.com/ and opentrackir for head tracking (available here) https://developer.oculusvr.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=1264 There's no 3d with this method but head tracking works great and it will do until the native support is available.
Karaya_ Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Well now with 1080p DK2 maybe the single pixel/low detail problem will go away? Would absolutely love to be able to play this game natively with Rift, best experience.
VR-DriftaholiC Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I think we are just waiting on the dev's to get a dk2 to begin integrating it. It sure would be nice to hear an official statement on this.
Shalimar Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 my impression of dcs in dk2... http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/2f5uc4/to_oculus_with_lovefrom_pakistan/
AndyHill Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I tested the Oculus Rift DK1 mostly with DCS and I thought I'd write about it on the simulator forums I frequent (since I was really curious about reading OR-related thoughts myself), but it ended up becoming a pretty major story so I turned it into a blog post. If you're interested in my experiences with the device and my infinitely wise assessment of its potential, check out this post: http://anttiilomaki.wordpress.com/2014/09/15/oculus-rift-in-simulator-gaming-potentially-the-most-disruptive-tech-since-trackir/
