when you select imperial units is range displayed as miles or nautical miles??

I believe the imperial vs metric is for aircraft HUD measurements only, mainly speed.  Icons IIRC are given in Km's, which kind of makes sense, since they match your maps grid lines.

Pretty sure the Imperial speeds are given in MPH IAS, which will be interesting if we ever get any Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft, as their air speed indicators are calibrated in knots.

But then if it's a mile but no nautical mile, is it a geographical mile, a statute mile, an international mile or a roman mile?:scratch_one-s_head:

Could be worse, it could be in Arshini.  (Look it up).

I got a few rifles marked with Arshini ranges, but have the dash stamped through the numbers and meters calibrated on the opposite side.   They were certainly optimists in their optical ranging device.  Taking it you've a few in the old locker too.?
