Koenigstiger Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Hello tankers, I'm currently playing a mission on the Kuban map. Here it is - unfortunately still - particularly annoying that the tank drifts a lot to the corresponding side when driving on sloping terrain, so that you have to constantly correct the direction of travel. This animation is too strong and needs to be corrected. On dry terrain there is practically no drift up to a slope of approx. 10 percent - with more slopes, of course, a little more in proportion. I myself once experienced with the Leopard 1 that during a free-running exercise in autumn on a damp meadow in the early morning (with dew) with a slope of more than 20 percent, we slipped sideways so that the driver could no longer hold the tank could hold. The tracks had the usual rubber pads. Luckily we came to a small ditch. Good luck Guenther 1 1
LachenKrieg Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Thanks for sharing that. The Dev's have done a lot of work on the suspension/running gear/terrain effects, but this is one area that could still use a small tweak to improve the SIM.
