Battle of Normandy Map

Just a speculative question, I noticed that the Normandy map includes southern England, and wondered whether the campaign may start pre-invasion,  which could be a nice introduction to the Hawker Typhoon attacking coastal radar sites, and late campaign attacking the German army in the Falaise pocket, as I say, just pure speculation !!!!

IIRC two versions of the map are planned - one pre-invasion, one post-invasion.

I think to remember to have read somewhere that the campaign was planned from April to late of August...

Well, i am curious too, and what really impresses me is the amount of (unexpected?) updates of the older stuff over the past 1.5 years since i joined IL2.

That's a good thing with this company, and why i pre-bought BoN, FC2 and every pre-release collector thing.

Just read an old post from BlackSix on a career he was working on; something i never tried, but will do LoL.

 

Now fingers crossed for flyable C47s, and B25s. Finland? Water planes like a Catalina, that was a nice one in IL2-1946.

Porting all Off Winters' nice prepared stuff to a real Mediterranean map, that's probably too much to ask for.
