KevinMcG Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Hi Guys, I don't know why, but for some reason, I randomly began experiencing low FPS in Quick Missions in GB. From what used to be 100+ FPS, it is now randomly 30-50. The rest of Il-2 is not affected, and I still continue to get around 100 FPS in multiplayer. If anyone knows a solution, it would be a lot of help. Thanks.

KevinMcG Posted April 11, 2021 Author Posted April 11, 2021 It is usually around 50, but sometimes it drops to around 30 FPS, and I do not have weather on, and no more vehicles than usual.
jollyjack Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 (edited) If you look at a quick mission in the ME it seems that there's often quite a bit of active MCU related stuff going on, at least with one i worked out a bit. It contained some real clever programming f.i. in ship movements, probably intense CPU use though with some other vehicle and plane movements apparently not CZ triggered. I just compared a recent career mission, which ran even at 8x speed; that was done quite well. BoP career, BlackSix made it ?. Edited April 19, 2021 by jollyjack

Do you have any performance tracking software like MSI Afterburner? You could record a performance log of the QMB and then check to see what component is being hit the hardest. That might be enlightening as to where the bottleneck is. If your CPU is going crazy then some kind of AI or missions logic is likely to blame - if your GPU is getting hit hard then it's something in the rendering.
KevinMcG Posted April 24, 2021 Author Posted April 24, 2021 Update: The new update 4.601 fixed my FPS issues, thanks for the help guys!
