Hello ladies and gents!


I have some programming abilities. Thinking of creating a universal joy profiler (a-la Saitek Profiler), but for all brands of joysticks. One profile will include unlimited ammount of joysticks, not individual profile for each joystick.


Example:


 


Profile 1: DCS Su-25T


Saitek X52 Throttle


CH Fighter Stick


VKB pedals - brake axis emulates button.


 


Profile 2: IL2 BoS


Saitek X52 Throttle


CH Fighter Stick


VKB pedals - usual axes


Saitek Quadrant


 


May be there will be a virtual joy driver for different axes layout (when assigning brakes axis for soviets - german airplanes' brakes stop working properly). But this is not for sure at all. Too complicated, dangerous and ungratefull.


 


Scripting may be implemented (a-la CH profilers).


 


Ready to hear out your feature requests.

I just found out that there is a problem with it about 2 minutes ago LOL.

There will be modes, yes. Hopefully the mode select twist knob will work too.

Okay I finished the first step. Looks like Saitek has a real problem with mode select knob. I found a thread about it. 

When I launch my written profiler - it does not see mods knob.

Then I focus the control panel and back to my app. Mode shows up.

I close control panel and my app stops seing mods knob.

This is Saitek's problem. Their support could not help dude that created X52 thread unfortunately. So the future of mods knob in my app remains unclear.

EDIT: the same goes for clutch button ( "i" on throttle ). Saitek's drivers handle it their own way.
