Tank crew commander view - mouse & TrackIR conflict?

Hi, I like the game very much, just a question about the use of control:

 

When I am in the commander position and call with "tilde" them menu is there a possibility to map the target ring to mouse? TrackIR will always try to be dominant and hinder movement, or do I just have to quit TrackIR in advance? Example: I look in fron, but want to target a tank on 3 oclock, but then I have to fix in with my head which is sometime difficult.

Update - conflict still exists, but I just added a quickbutton to TrackIR on the hotas, now all is fine; when I switch to commander I simply pause TrackIR and the mose takes over.
