Micro Center, never again

in this time where getting a new gpu is next to impossible unless you want to pay 3 or 4 times the retail price I thought I’d finally stumbled into what I’ve sought since last September. But it was a mirage created by micro center and made worse by their poor behavior. Here’s what happened. 
 

I was at the closest store at 8 am Saturday because the website said they had the gpu I have waited months to buy. They showed stock of several 3080, 3070 and 3060 ti. I was second in line. Within a half hour there were more than 50 customers in line almost all for the same reason I was there. The site opened at 10am, the line of customers went to the gpu section in an orderly fashion only to be told they had zero gpu’s. It was totally unusual to have so many in line on a Saturday morning. The manager should have come out, asked what people were there for and told us their website was very wrong and they had no cards. And apologize to us some like me who had come from more than an hour away. But they didn’t and instead had some kid tell everyone after waiting two hours. This is horrible customer service and I will NEVER shop micro center again.
