IL2 dturmovik BOS - aircraft IL2 headtrack - can't see over the wing armoured canopy in the way

When I turn my head left or right to look over the wing with my headtrack all I see is the canopy.

 

When I use my hat button on the joystick or key bindings I can look over the wing.

 

It's like I'm sitting to far back in the plane. Any ideas? I'm a novice.

Can you post some pictures, or even better, a video of whats happening, and what you whant to happen?

 

My first idea. It's either your response curves from trackIR, your default position inside the cockpit (that you can customize for each plane), or both.

I take it you use some tracking device? Use Opentrack, though fine tuning it is a bit of work, unless you get the hang of it.

I have a track hat clip, and could send you my setup. or conf. ini, works fine.
