flak1962 Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 recently been into the axis aircraft and i cant get manual rpm to work in manual mode for the 109 or the 110, have switched it to manual rpm mode and the axis levers on my saitek quadrant are set up to rpm engine 1 and another to rpm engine2 but i get no responce from them in manual or auto, only really wanted it for taxiing the 110 really but its still been bugging me any ideas ?
Lord_Strange Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 I don't fly the messers much but I believe it's the prop pitch you're taking control of as they don't have RPM governors. So the control you want will be 'propeller pitch engine 1' or something like that.
BlitzPig_EL Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 Need to map to buttons. One to raise and one to lower the pitch and one to toggle the automatic pitch on and off. The German engines are different and used electric controls.

I./JG52_Woutwocampe Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 Yeah the 110 is much easier to handle on the ground if you set the prop pitch to manual. Stupid tail wheel that wont lock.
