KPnutskgwanchos Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Sorry if this is in wrong section but wasn't sure. So I cant seem to have separate button mappings just for moving pilots head forward or backwards when head tracking is enabled. I disabled the Z axis in free track but still the buttons I have mapped for head forward/back only work I'd head tracking is completely off. Any help much appreciated ??

No_85_Gramps Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 You can always map the zoom functions, not the same as head movement, but they work. 1

There's no way around that, that I know of. You hold numpad 5 or other key bound to a view and move view or change fov using keys and mouse, then press key to save and realise. No need to disable trackir. Edited March 21, 2021 by 1PL-Husar-1Esk 3
JG1_Wittmann Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 You can reposition your pilot head while using a snap view key. Example is I use the 2 keypad for a 6 view over my right shoulder. While Track IR is on. Now as long as you keep holding that key you can then use pilot head move keys to move left/right, up/down, fwd/back . Once you let go of the snap key your head reverts back to track ir control, so it's not permanent move. You can pause your track ir, reposition your head and then resume tir, your centered head position will remain where you moved to 1
