AcesHighEdwardBrush Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Hi All To begin with, apologies if this has already been posted but I have looked and can't find a reference to the issue that I'm facing. I have just purchased a Thrustmaster T.Flight rudder pedal system and I'm usig it on DCS and IL2 Cliffs of Dover Desert Wings. It works well on DCS however, when I use it on Cliffs of Dover, I have noticed that the aircraft (in this case a Spitfire) pulls to the right slightly. I initially tried to trim it but that hasn't fixed the problem so I went back and had a closer look at the rudder setup. So I went in to Options, Controls, Axes and tried to re-setup the rudder and that's when I noticed the rudders deadzone in wouldn't centralise back to zero. It holds an IN value of -0.07 and an OUT value of -0.01. I have tried everything to bring them both back to zero but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this issue and, if they have, could they explain how to correct it as I'm at the end of my tether and just can't fix it ! Many thanks in advance and again, apologies if this issue has already been posted. All the best to you all, Ed
zzzxxxxzzz Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Gradually increase "0% Dead Zone" until "Out" shows 0.00. But that is a control issue not game related, try calibrating it again in Windows, you should do this before changing any setting
AcesHighEdwardBrush Posted March 16, 2021 Author Posted March 16, 2021 Hi ZZZ Many thanks for getting back to me. I'll follow your advice and give this a try. All the best, Ed
Sokol1 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Make a pedal calibration with DView. Center is the minimum RAW value + maximum RAW value /2. E.g. 200 + 1000 /2 = 600
AcesHighEdwardBrush Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 Hi there Soko I had never heard of DIView and have just checked it out. It looks like an excellent piece of calibration software. I'll give it a try. Many thanks for your help. All the best Ed
