Hotcliff Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 I just managed my first "real" combat mission which was a total succes.. but.. My 3 platoon comrade tanks which I had ordered in a "Echelon-Left-Close" formation. It looked good at start but they were driving so slow compared to my advance that I had to stop 3 or 4 times just to let them catch up. Why can't they just keep up with my speed? I don't feel comfortable having to stop so many times when advancing against the enemy. It takes the edge off a surprise attack. Maybe there is a setting I have missed?
[KG]Destaex Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 You can set your tanks max gear in order to stay as slow as they are. I think their is a set speed command when you can use as well. Max speed. I wonder if that would work for you.

Hmm, thank's for advice but it does not feel so good to go slower just to keep them in line ? I think I have to continue.. drive..wait..drive.. I like to end up against the enemy with my line of tanks intact.
[KG]Destaex Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Yeah I get the sense of urgency. But tank drive trains must be preserved until contact with the enemy!
