Comrades,

I just wanted to say hello, since I am a new member from today. and only have been playing Tank Crew since two days ago, of which most of the time spend reconfiguring my keys for a descent configuration. I do have played IL-2 Sturmovik in it's original version and also good old "Panzer Commander" (1998). My most difficult sim was "Steal Beasts Pro PE" (2005) , the Swedish Leopard 2A4 version Strv122. After some time, I found it too complex and high-tech for an "armchair commander" so I have been looking since then for a alternative. 

It took some years until I recently found this lovely tanksim (not mentioning the sandbox kid's game WoT).

Now, having tried out my favourite T34-76 on a series of single training missions and a few duels, I must say I am impressed! It has got everything I have been looking for, despite the hard range-finding and the hopeless russian symbols for different ammo types which also seem to change in between missions (?)

Anyway, I hope this will be my final ultimate tank-sim and I am also looking forward to a active forum.

By now, I have tried my first platoon mission and we annihilated the Jerries! ✌️

Today I feel "over the moon" due to my first mission success and after 2 days of fiddling with conflicting key-commands etc.. Now it can only be better! 

What  can I say?... Beginners luck or hard work? 

One Tiger and one PzIV killed instantly in my ambush.. I do love this sim!

It really feels like a good forum this and I am looking forward to many discussions in here.

The screenshots took some time to get the hang of though. First to get the right key not to conflict with another function, like Steam screenshots (F12) etc. Next to find out where on C:/ those screenshots were and finding out that they are saved in .bmp format! So, it took a few hours to figure that out, just to right-click the image+Edit , then it opens up in Paint and can be saved as jpeg or what you want. The pc-world is not always so simple

It's good "file awareness training" for map making, the player made campaign/mission  packs and custom skins - check out all the custom tank skins thread first- all free, and easy to do!!!  Let me know if you need some rookie pointers on how to acquire, load and use all the cool skins.  I've only been on about 45 days here myself but am already fully up with the Finnish Server (the best combined arms game out there IMHO) and the free single player mission/campaign packs.  Enjoy!

Ok, thank's I will check it out after some more "basic training" here, but I know.. the Finns always do it seiously
