jollyjack Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) Linked Entity plane and engageability. I have a single Ju52 waiting for action on a runway, engine running. (There's a covering FW added too.) I had to turn off vulnerability because of passing enemy planes. Now is there a way of turning this Ju52 (and the cover plane) engageability or vulnerability on again after the take off action, when has been activated to take off by another MCU like some 'passing trucks waypoint? I'll had a look at Jim's manual, especially at the Complex Trigger. There are four Ju53 scripts you can activate, ju523mg4e, ju523mg4e-c, ju523mg4e-c1, and ju523mg4e-c1-low, but what can you do with those? Complex Trigger is a Complex Matter. I try to understand it's functioning, seems it needs a manual of it's own ... I could PM a mission test file if needed, just started making one since it's part of a quite large mission i almost completed, pffff, the first 30 minutes works OK now, but it takes too long to load the whole caboose for testing the end phase only. For the Complex trigger, use only the plane name without any extension at all. No target link out of the Complex Trigger, only multiple events links according to the list. It can be enabled at start so no need to use a target link to enable it, but you can activate and deactivate it with the corresponding MCU target linked to it. You can see the Complex Trigger as a combination of multiple triggering events for multiple planes or vehicles in one shot. There are in the complex trigger events that you do not have in the event list of a given plane like: Stationary, Alive, Repaired, Cargo dropped etc... For those events no other easy possibility but Complex Trigger. You can list all the planes types and the name list to whom the events will apply. 1
jollyjack Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) That makes it a lot clearer, thanks !! ADDED: Did quite some experimenting. It's the end of a mission situation. Made a short end phase version. Train triggers a convoy, convoy moves out, and is supposed to trigger a parked Ju52. Latter won't start, guess i did something stupid messing with the Complex Trigger involved. Reason for this setup is that i don't want some stray enemy plane destroy the Ju52 before it has taken off; after that it's OK and even must be shot as end of mission. I can PM a link to a download .... Edited March 14, 2021 by jollyjack
Gambit21 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Jack, look at the “Command Behavior” MCU. I can’t check right now. 1
