Very nice skin! Excellent work.

Historical info: i think that the 4a Squadriglia operated in Belgium during the BoB (that's why the yellow color on the engines) and then returned to Italy (Piacenza-San Damiano).

PS: the white band of the fuselage also continues below, wraps around the whole plane. If I'm not wrong.

I do not know exactly how real paint scheme should look like. The skin based on painsheme I provided in first post. And this scheme is closest to time period that will be represented in upcoming ACG campaign. Of course, I am not claiming that the found paint scheme is historically accurate. I did not found any photos showing paint schemes used in Africa by 4 Squadriglia.

I requested info about 4 Squadrilgia in Africa from guys doing researching for upcoming ACG campaign and got answer containing next info:

According to Chris Dunnings book "Courage Alone - The Italian Airforce 1940-1943" 11 Gruppo BT of Stormo 13, consisted of 1 and 4 Squadriglie and this book lists them as posted to Cirenaica (Libya) from the 22 of July 1941 based at Derna. On the 7th of December 1941 they transferred to Barce which is an ancient Greek colony city in Libya, also known as Barca.
On the 14th of December they moved back to Misurata in Tripoli. In march 1942 they moved to Bir Dufan in Tripoli before heading back to Italy on 8th of April 1942.

Also I used next photos:

Yes, after returning to Italy for the first half of '41, they went to Africa. But I think (I could be wrong) that in this scenario they didn't have yellow on the engines. I repeat, I could be wrong though ...?

That was what I wanted to say before, as it is, the skin (in my opinion and always if I'm not mistaken) is related to the BoB and the period in Italy.
There is always the possibility that the planes have not been repainted and have gone so well in Africa.

In any case, the skin is very well done! ?

According to Osprey’s Italian Aces of WWII, all Italian fighter aircraft in North Africa, as well as some bombers and reconnaissance aircraft, were given yellow markings from late 1940 until October 1941, when it became an Eastern Front marking only.

You are right that 13° Stormo was part of the CAI, though, so it’s possible that the yellow markings were applied in Belgium, then retained when the unit transferred to Italy and Africa.

1) White band fixed, all skins updated.

2) Template updated.

3) Base skins renamed.

4) Added third two color base skin (to use with in game markings).

All updated content available by old links in first post.

By the way, if you are as lucky as me and folder for custom paint schemes for Trop version is missed then create folder with name "tobruk_BR-20M_Trop"
