This is what bothers me the most in the game. The AI just keeps attacking the ground targets until the program indicates the target goals are met. This seems to be a time limitation. I often make 1 or at most 2 passes over the target and get out of the fray. When I do this alone (squadron commander leaving the rest of the intended flight at home) I usually bomb the target, fly home and wait (on 4x time compress) until the timer has ticked to the end and then get a mission accomplished. Also, when I order an AI flight to bomb a bridge, they often come back with a mission accomplished but the targets they destroyed are trucks and such, no bridge. When you as a player take part and the bridge is not destroyed you will never get the mission accomplished.

It is simply annoying, when you have the order to attack ground troops and all your squadmates are attacking is the AA defense. But if your flight has the order to prepare the main attack, it would make sense.

But if your flight has the order to prepare the main attack, it would make sense. I changed the AAA to be not engageable. That might have its own issues but it does make the AI attack other targets.
