Moderators CLOD AWC Posted March 10, 2021 Moderators CLOD Posted March 10, 2021 Hello! I am currently making a short movie with IL-2 based on 486SQN (NZ) and I need a New Zealander voice for the main character. If you are interested in taking part in this awesome project, please contact me, I've made a forum post already: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/70024-looking-for-voice-actors-for-short-il-2-movie/ Here is a trailer I've made to give you an idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzurWzLfFJE
RAAF492SQNOz_Steve Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 As another Aussie I cannot help you. Would comment however that the New Zealand accent in the 1940's would be much less pronounced than it is today. Unlikely that you would have heard "sux bandits at one oclack", during WWII, on the intercom. Had several N.Z. relatives that would have been growing up at that time and they had a very English type accent.

It's a good point you make though and I'll keep it in mind.
