Clever, but seems to have been of limited use. According to Wikipedia, it had the usual going-astray issues with parachute-dropped equipment, and the low power and small wheels made it rather impractical.

There are plenty of cool foldable or compact Designs, many based on Vespa/Lambretta Powertrains.

The Vespa TAP was used in the Algerian War in the early 60s. 

Enfield had the 100cc Enfield Flying Flea in WWII.

Near enough, they put a Nuclear Warhead on the little Jeep Clone by FIAT, on a bigger launcher.
