But do you really wanna watch a movie that 95% of the run time is Maverick leading pre-flight briefs...safety briefs...department head duties... cancellations for a down jet or weather...counting down days until the next port visit...getting irritated by crappy internet at sea...to only to finally get a flying scene in the last 5 minutes of the movie that amounts to watching Maverick get slightly irritated trying to tank from a KC-135 for the 3rd time then almost get to drop a JDAM on some random jihadi in the middle of desert but be told by a JTAC at the last minute that he's gonna use 30mm from some Apaches in the area instead and... roll credits ....because that would be a "realistic" movie ... I'm guessing not ?

I’ll settle for Maverick not cutting through the middle of two Rhino’s in close formation, which would result in an immediate Field Board.
