Possible to launch WMR etc and play IL2 with a G2 without the Hand Controllers?

Hi Folks,

 

Enjoying my Quest 2 but I think a G2 maybe a step up in both clarity and performance (3080, 5900x)

 

I may have the chance to pick a G2 but without the controllers.

 

My Q2 needs it's controllers to launch link, virtual desktop and SteamVR but I wondered if i can use the G2 just for IL2 without the need for controllers. 

 

So does anybody know if you can launch WMR, headset and then the game etc with only the mouse?

Yes. My controllers stay turned off unless I happen to be playing another VR game that uses them.
