Panzerlang Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 It's often said that our various sims are played by a silent majority of SP players (single-player players) as opposed to MP'ers. Yet games like RoF seemed to aim everything at the MP crowd until somebody caught on to where the money was really coming from and gave us the Beta Career. RoF pretty much has no MP any more (less than a hundred regular MP players?) so one assumes it's the SP'ers who are buying all the planes these days? So the question is which way will BoS be going? Are we going to get decent support for SP (a proper career campaign thing going on with an RPG element worthy of the name) or will it be mainly an MP Banger?
71st_AH_Hooves Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I believe that the next update is going to go into more depth about this, So jsut hang on a couple more days, From what I have read, it looks like it wont be to far off what RoF offers, at first that is.
Jason_Williams Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I think you just need to read the latest Dev Diary. Our products have both SP and MP features. ROF was never focused solely at any one group. Jason
6./ZG26_Gielow Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 The great catch for me is to have a rpg like career on mp enviroment.
Sokol1 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) Focus a new "realistic"* WWII simulator game on MP is almost suicidal, see actual (today) il-2 (all flavors) MP numbers: Saturday numbers, during the week the numbers are worse... * Non "realistic" make success, see War Thunder, World of Warplanes, etc...
