Focke-Wulf 190 A-5 skin based on 190 F-8 of Stab I./SG2, Hungary January 1945.

I started doing this skin based on a scan of  a Claes Sundin profile. I've since found a lot more artist impressions and an original photo so will probably do some more revised skins based in the future such as the A-6 (when I get it) and the A-8. Meanwhile this is where I'm at.

Hi,

thanks for the beautiful skin! Would you also use the A8 / F8 template (for Panzerblitz!)? That would fire me a lot ?

I'll do the A-8 next and start making it closer to the photo with hand painted number and black cross. Also more diffuse camo and red markings instead of green. I do like the choice of green though as it immediately caught my eye. It also fitted well with the aircraft being deployed in Hungary.

the following link shows the work of an artist who made the skins for "Il-2 1946" (many references, information on sources and suggestions / partly with other - believable - color interpretations !!!). He (RaFiGer) was also here in the forum!

Yes, indeed this plane is controverse since some years already and Claes Sundin has a good point in using green as colour of the Panzerring and the numeral.

The plane was used as Stabflugzeug and even if the color seems to be black or red, green could be correct because it was coloured in the way that the Planes of Stab/Staff showed a black chevron with green numerals. Here examples of skins I have done:

Regarding the Camouflage of the plane you can use my interpretation because I have photographic sources that cleary shows the winter stripes on the wings and the yellow Schlachtgruppen chevron. If you like of course
