Game Not Loading after 4.506 ( most recent ) Update

Had this start right after the update. The first time, I had a video in a browser on another screen going.  Shut down browser, loaded fine and flew online.  Today, nothing will start just keep getting IL2 not responding in Task Manager have to reboot as I cant switch to task manager with game up, or trying. These are the files created at error time 442

 

tex.log  is the only place I spot an error message,  as follows :

 

FAILED load: GRAPHICS\TEXTURES\TRASH\LOWFREQ.DDS (graphics\textures\common\LOWFREQ.DDS)
FAILED load: GRAPHICS\TEXTURES\TRASH\HIFREQ.DDS (graphics\textures\common\HIFREQ.DDS)

 

Have never had issues before and only process updated has been IL2,  any help appreciated as game won't load at all at this point

Well, it was not a sound driver issue.  The issue was Asus GPU Tweak II.  I downloaded TweakIII ( still in beta)  and could not get it to work.   I then found MSI afterburner.  I use so that I can apply my own fan profile so that my video card runs cooler that the default Nvidia fan settings.   I got Afterburner running with my fan profile, started game.  So it would seem that the tex.log file generated  is a misnomer.  Something in this latest patch appears to make the game not run, at least in my case, with any kind of video card tweak program running.   Hopefully  this can be fixed if something was put in this patch not mentioned because at this point the game is not playable as I won't run my vid card at stock temps
