Just tried TC in VR for the first time..

Pretty cool, but controls were funny. Interior look around and through the vision ports was super cool except gunner close up view. I noticed stuff I hadn't before though like no recoil except the gunbarrel; I would have thought there'd be some motion and AI driver will drive straight up to enemy tanks which is crazy. Isnt there any sense to the AI or does it just blindly follow waypoints?

Have you tried giving the crew commands? They do listen and follow orders

havent done crew commands yet. that will help, just odd the AI is so dumb.

Don’t bother with AI get on the Finnish dynamic servers and fight real people in tanks. Whilst watching just the furball above You and willing your Allied pilots to shoot down that dastardly foe!

Deadly, so many experienced tanker out there. Finish server is real hard.

agreed finish server doesn't even let you know where you are

 

and there are no active server for tank combat apart from that real hard core server

Good point.. playing with other people and a full tank crew would be the most fun. I suppose the more "real" the simulation gets, the more you need a full crew in the tank! Still, I hope they keep putting effort in to bring it up to a more real combat simulation.
