4SCT_Vespa Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 As mentioned by Kintaro...boost cut out doesn't work in FIAT BR 20. From a graphic point of view for sure...in the video below you can see throttle levers that can go through the boost cut out ( just a metal flap that should rotate ), don't know if , even if the plate doesn't move, a linked command works on engine perfomance side Any way to fix this? In Chuck's guide it looks rotated so I can assume it worked fine in IL2 CLOD 1
343KKT_Kintaro Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Thank you Vespa. Please note I recently mentioned that in the Bugtracker (item #1346 in the list of bugs).
4SCT_Vespa Posted February 14, 2021 Author Posted February 14, 2021 By the way...in the engine levers consolle, there was an additional rotating plate to graduate the mixture levels range ( n.3 in the attached picture scanned from the BR 20 manual ). At take off the pilot had to rotate the plate to move the "correttore" levers full fwd to enrich mixture and gain more power and less engine temperature, as reported in the manual. Of course I know it would be impossible to get this modelled in the sim aircraft. 1

343KKT_Kintaro Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 I forgot to mention that, as promised by Buzzsaw, the boost cut-out device is back on board our BR.20s... THANK YOU TFS.
