DrDeath_MD Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I've somehow managed to survive into Jan '44 flying A P-51D and got injured on a mission requiring me to take 15 days leave. Upon return, my next mission has no Germans and then I checked the intel map and all the enemy fighter squadrons are red--they were black before injury. Is this accurately simmed? I would imagine it is since the German airfarce was fairly depleted this late in the war or at least that is my understanding. I'm debating giving them an emergency supply to have something to shoot at.
PatrickAWlson Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Could happen. Time does not stand still while you are injured. Activity for every day that you are out is simulated. That's what emergency resupply is for so have at it. One thing that I can do in the future, but it's complex, is to evaluate enemy air presence and heavily weight ground attacks if the enemy is depleted. Still, if you are looking for air to air then resupply is the way to go. I use it myself all the time.
DrDeath_MD Posted January 30, 2021 Author Posted January 30, 2021 Then I'll resupply. I'm amazed that the AI pilots can't hit anything in missions but kill everything when I'm injured :)!

It's much easier shoot something down on what amounts to a dice roll than to actually hit something in the game 1
