Until the 5th of February it is supposedly sold 35% off... but now it's back to the full cost of the product:

What's going on?

There are sales at various times on the 1C site and also on Steam.

As far as I know there will be another sale on Steam starting February 11th and going to the 15th.

TOBRUK should be 35% off the standard price and BLITZ 75% off with an additional 10% off for the bundle.

There is no price drop I've check a few times . ?

I really don't want to go to another website and get this at half price .

Millions are out of work and lost business due too covid19 .

Asking for $70.00 for a ten year old game with bugs i just can not do .

Yes i know you have poured hours into this and made it work for all of us . Its been a long slog .

But the asking price is too steep .

I think if it was at £25.00 you would of sold way more copies . Multiplayer would be full again . ?

The price has scared people off .

I know that for a fact . Me . !!!!

A Pub is selling beer at £2.00 a pint the pub next door  is selling at £5.00 a pint . Who makes more profit . ? lol

Buzzsaw already answered. In the meantime I got the confirmation of Buzzsaw's statement, I got it (by email) from 1C's webmaster (PR 1CGS Team = pr [@] 1cgs.net) : "I was told it will be on sale during the Lunar New Year sale soon".

12 more days and the wait will be over.

The game is marvelously playable and I spend much more of my free time on the Dover series than the free time I spend on the Great Battles series. "Cliffs" and "Tobruk" are MUCH more rewardig.

Direct competitors focuses on quantity, Clod/TF on quality. In fact, it cannot be denied that CloD has great attention to detail. 3d models are spectacular for example, and everything related to the DM/shooting is unmatched.

In any case with that price in other sims you buy only 1 plane.

The MP is lacking for various reasons, the first being that people have moved elsewhere. There is certainly a lack of content (such as stats, which BoS has) and more, but we hope they will arrive.

I know people who spend 70 € for 1 min of sex ....

If you like CloD, buy Tobruk too. ?

The most crucial parts of the internals are modeled, texturized, and interact with the damage caused by lots of types of ammunition. 100% of our flyable planes have interactive cockpits with mouseover features to show you, speed/altitude/temps and etc. Not everything is interactive, but it's like DCS with some non-crucial elements non interactive in some modules (Cliffs don't simulate radios and oxygen instruments yet). It might not be interesting for arcade players, but it has great value for those who really want to learn how to manage those WWII planes in more depth since you really learn and can interact with the instruments in front of you.

The Wellington bomber alone would be a good reason for me to buy this expansion due to the high quality of the cockpit it has and the fact that even the bombardier and two gunner positions are manageable and also clickable/interactive. And there's more, if you don't like the desert, you can obiviously play with every plane on every map the game offers (Channel/Tobruk/Vulcan Islands/Fields and etc...) if you learn how to deal with the FMB or download community user missions. ?
