Weird views while opening/closing canopy

Recommended Posts

I see a weird and annoying view effects while opening/closing canopy.

I tested it in FIAT G.50/Macchi C202 aircraft; I use Track Ir.

When I close the canopy, the view immediately switch to front view...then get back to previous head position...

A short video could be more clear then words...any way to fix this issue?

Thanks

Yes, last year I've already noticed that, but I never found this an annoying issue. To resolve this kind of problem, there is the Bugtracker, an online tool at our service. If you don't know how to use the Bugtracker, leave it with me, I'll specifically create a bug notification for that.

WRONG. This game is full of small LOVELY issues. All jokes aside, this simulator presents several problems and bugs, indeed, but it is not only absolutely playable, it is also, in my opinion, the most rewarding WWII combat flight simulator ever. Please accept its limitations at present: we see a small shake when opening and closing cockpits... and so? is this that annoying? There are a few other problems that are real urgencies in this game, and the devs are busy with them. And here it comes with one specific trait of "Cliffs of Dover": the devs are not numerous, they are not-payed volonteers, they need time to resolve and upgrade the game (3D clouds are coming, full all-weather effects are coming, VR is coming) and I have the impression that at present the devs cannot deal with insignificant issues like this one. So this is my suggestion: let's be patient, let's enjoy our lovely little shakes when closing our cockpits, let's have fun in the existing servers... and, in the meantime, the devs will prepare for us the next level in this game. This game is at the highest level of simulation in its domain, the domain of WWII combat flight sims... on a 2D screen. Now we need the game becomes competitive with those other games that already are VR-compatible.
