Readman35 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 (edited) Hello, I am truly vexed at what is happening here, For a long time I've wanted IL2 and yet now that I've finally gotten it, this odd behavior has occurred which has effectively rendered the game non-playable. During play I get this damndable pop up about how the game needs Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5; okay, fine I appear to have .net Framework 4.8, not sure why a less version would be the requirement but whatever. Seems like it ought to be a simple fix, no? Well, no. I tried enabling it and then it asks me to download it....It just does what it shows in the attached image. I should note as well i cant even just dismiss the popup and ignore it, it keeps populating and populating continually.... So, fellow flyers I am at a loss. I'm hoping there is a solution to this because I truly want to play this game. Ah if it helps it did, eventually give me this: server execution failed 0x80080005 Can't see my internet connection eing the issue, everything else works fine. Trying to scour Microsoft help as well Edited January 24, 2021 by Readman35
m2b1 Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 I have the same problem! Is there already a solution?
jollyjack Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 (edited) IL2 uses DotNET 3.5 i think, which installs automatically if you run the launcher. Make a backup of your game files, and delete the updates folder from the main IL_2 folder might fix this. Start the launcher and it seeks for erroneous files then on booting the game. Can it be an antiviral setting or firewall blocking your download? You could try to connect through a server in a different country with a VPN. Edited December 13, 2021 by jollyjack
deldalton36 Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 I too have the same problem. I hope it will not appear when I finally get Normandy.
EMS2/4_Cyrene Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 I'm a fresh Steam user of IL2 Battle of Stalingrad on Windows 10 Pro. I had popups to install .NET Framework 3.5 as soon as I was siting in the cockpit, sending my game in the background and failing each and every time to install .NET Framework... #10032 errors would tell me something's wrong with the parcer when leaving game... I tried many fixes to install Framework 3.5: -Update Windows 10 -Update .NET from the Windows settings / cmd prompt / DISM / offline / manual downloads / etc... All ending with a failure of the 0x800xxxxx type. Until I did this: -open PowerShell as Administrator -Run the command Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName "NetFx3" -Once it finish installing .NET Framework 3.5, you can close the command prompt or PowerShell. I found the solution here: https://winaero.com/install-net-framework-3-5-in-windows-10/ This fixed my issue on the first try! No more .NET Framework 3.5 requests, and no more #10032 parcer errors.
