TM t16000 key mapping

I am trying to set up controls for complex engine management for the Yak1. I see all of the wonderful key assignments on this forum, but don’t understand how to do them. The joystick/ throttle quadrant has essentially two useable axi, which I’ve mapped for oil/water radiators. I can’t figure how to map the mixture to buttons. The default key is Ralt+Minus, Ralt+Equals.  When I try to assign that function to a joystick button, the game automatically assigns that joystick button as both the increase and decrease button. I want to assign those functions to POV 0 for increase and POV 180 for decrease. What am I missing? Thx in advance.

Yeah, it seems a little sensitive when binding buttons like this. Try this, quickly tap the button that you want assigned to mixture increase, it might not seem to have registered, then quickly tap the button you want assigned to mixture decrease. 

 

Hopefully, both bindings with show up at the same time.
