Complex Engine Settings

Is there a way to modify “Normal” settings to allow for complex engine management.

Left Shift plus the M key will turn on CEM.

If you're flying German stuff, you may need to go to the keys/controls list and find the controls to switch automatic systems (RPM, radiators, etc.) to manual.  Some Allied planes have auto-systems but, they're a lot fewer than Axis.  IIRC there's only 1 or 2 Axis planes that have 0 automatic systems.  

 

It depends on the plane though as some planes of same model type have different systems.  For example the 109 E7 has manual radiator control.  All other (later) 109s have auto radiators with a manual override switch.  All 109s have a manual override to switch control for RPM.
