It had been a while since I started the sim.  Of course when I did it said I had a 17+ gig update. I started the update before I went to bed. I live in farm country. My internet stinks because my ISP won't upgrade our network. I'm lucky to get a 3.5 meg connection.

I got up the next day and the download was just under half complete. My boss (read that wife unit) needed to work on lesson planning (she is a teacher) so I had to stop the D/L. The game stopped the service.

Tonight I'm getting ready to hit the rack and decided to finish the D/L .  I started the launcher .. it says checking version then goes right to a play button.  Click play and log in and it tells me my game needs to be updated.

What is my next step to update?

Ok found a fix to this .. deleting the updates folder, but there has to be a better way.. It would take me over a day to do an update of 17gig.  Sharing computer time with the boss makes that not an option. With this pandemic stuff computer time is shared, which isn't easy with my crappy ISP.

I also have DCS,, you can stop an update and it will restart where you left off.

It looks like with Il2 you do it in one long hop or no hop at all.

I tried to put a suggestion about it here, don't hesitate to +1:
