I finally tested the two biplanes today (tested online in the TF#3 server in North Africa):

 

1. Before patch 5.015, the Gladiator was a pain on the neck (sorry mates) but now, after a few online tests, I find it is a joy to fly. Thank you for the upgrades. I obtained pitiful results today, shot at every sortie, but that was due to the man's skills in the cockpit. The plane is fine and I simply need more training on board those biplanes.

 

2. I made only one sortie with the CR.42 today. Not enough to judge anything at all, so I'll fly it a bit more in the future before I express any opinion here.

 

Before the game reached this patch 5.015, those "torquing" biplanes were giving me the impression that I really needed a hardware rudder pedals device (because I use the stick's twist). The fact is: I don't. I still think that the stick's twist should be enough to use any serious simulation. You may not agree with that...

Rudder pedals! Thank you Thundercracker, I didn't know Crosswind is a model of rudder pedals.

MFG Crosswinds and yes I traded my first born for mine so I am very protective and proud of them.:)
