FC1 cockpit view

For non VR players: Cockpit view in FC1 (F1) always frustrated me sort of.

Like 'how a gynecologist paints his hallway? ... through the mail box'.

Using F4 seemed to be the alternative, but going round the bend has that irritating auto zooming at least i cannot switch off.

To the rescue came fixcameras. Use Alt-F2 (cycles through 6 settings, the others are default), and the first cameraview is somewhere above the pilot's head above the upper wing.

ZOOM OUT FIRST!!

I did not test them all, but the SPAD is quite a lot more enjoyable that way. Bristol, Se5a, Camel i tested, the rest might need some personal adjustments.

Fokker DR1 i did not try yet ... as with others, i will update after further testing some day. BTW this does not work in Rise of Flight alas.

They fixed this problem in the GB WWII modules without the need to alter camera views. Of course there were complaints about drag, safety, pilot control etc etc blah blah blah. Some people are never happy. Anyway, I expect further development in FC 2/3 along with the Se5a prop pitch issue.

Stay tuned jollyjack.

I pre bought FC2, dogfighting ww1 planes is IMO something superb. RoF is great, i bought it after IL2 GB was released (never knew it existed LoL).

Most planes in it are excellent, and i really would love to see more of them in FCx.

BTW Harry stunted too on my system ...

Why are you posting images that obviously show a problem with a mod and not with the current state of the game?

Relax man. It's just poking fun at the OP and not meant to be taken seriously. I would have thought that is obvious.
