jollyjack Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 If you set Arras Spring to winter in the ME, there seems not to be any, exept for some white spots after landing ... is there no winter? It can be quite cold in France ...
No.23_Gaylion Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Nope. No "winter" map. So you can make it snow but everything is green.
ShamrockOneFive Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 When the new Phase II Arras sector map comes into play it will have all four seasons. For now its limited to what it is. 3
Hapo54 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 ...at least you have WW I planes...my Arras map is full of WW II fighters

The map being used has no bearing on the aircraft in use. So rather than just expecting WW1 aircraft to appear on the Arras map you do have to choose the WW1 aircraft that are going to be present during your quick mission. You can choose the specific planes or choose random allied, random axis, random entente, random central. Also try one of the scripted campaigns for FC. They are called Spring Offensive and Kaiserschlacht. If your not seeing WW1 aircraft (or rather if you see WW2 aircraft) in those two then something is indeed wrong. Edited March 14, 2021 by Oliver88
Hapo54 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 ...thanks...I figgered that but there are no WWI planes in the menu...that is the problem... ...it took me a while to understand that I even had the Arras map and that it was the only one for Flying Circus, there at the bottom of the list... ...I have downloaded and installed the package several times and still no WWI aircraft... ...I was advised to check the program files by another savvy user. (Raptorattacker) ...trying to figger that out now...
J5_Adam Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 That’s just milk. Spilled I think. Somebody was probably crying. 1

Click the drop down and select Entente as the side and then pick something like a SPAD. It should show up.
Hapo54 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 ...so I didn't even need to buy Flying Circus to fly WWI planes in IL2 Quick Missions...!?!... ...I bought Fly Circus and then couldn't find the planes in quick mission that were already there before I bought it... ...I failed to note the promo codes in my profile so I paid full price for software I will likely not use...it is most likely I will just play quick missions... ...methinks I lack the lobes for this game...

No. In QMs you can fly against planes from modules you don't own. When you install the game on your PC you get the whole thing, but you can only fly planes from modules you've paid for.
