56thFG Penrod and Sam

The last P-47 flown by Robert S. Johnson when he was assigned to the 56thFG in 1944. I'm not 100% happy with the nose art but it's the best I can do. Penrod and Sam was a comic strip and a pre WWII film series. Johnson's crew chief's last name was Penrod and Samuel was Johnson's middle name.

Is there a download link for this? Also, did you ever consider recreating Robert Johnson's other P47's?

There is but I’ve been experimenting with the skin tonight a little and I’m not sure the same NMF shine the Mustangs and P-47 bubble canopy have has been applied to the D-22 yet. Hoping I’m wrong and it’s something on my end. 
 

The devs have been very responsive fixing this issue with the B model Mustang so if it lacking on the D-22 I’m sure it’ll be corrected quickly.

Sorry, I forgot to reply to this. Overall, I like how this turned out. Still hoping this template gets the shiny NMF treatment. If it has been added, I'm not able to bring this skin to that finish like the rest of the USAAF pursuit planes have. I might try one of his OD paint schemes sometime.
